It’s important when you add space to your home to not make it look like you’ve just added space to your home. You want it to look like it’s been there all along. Using similar materials can create a consistent look. Also think about window trim, corner boards and other materials and how they match the existing structure. Size is also important. You don’t want to overwhelm the existing structure with the new space.
